Frank Joe

Jeff Danis
They say that Thunder Bay, Ontario, is superior by nature. We like to think the same about the people who live there. Considering his background in design, manufacturing, sales and management, you might say that Jeff is somewhat of a "Jack of all Trades." This former sales star worked in and around the pulp and paper industry for a whopping 23 years. In fact, he achieved record sales for Voith Fabrics, where he managed the largest single account in the company's history. Jeff now brings his experience and expertise to work for Lock Search Group in the Vancouver office — that is, when he's not teaching his young sons, Jacob and Jackson, the finer points of baseball, football and sales management.

Gina Santa-Lucia
A native of Banff, Alberta, Gina has experience in sales, administration and management. Now in Vancouver, this energetic dynamo assists with research, sales and business development. Her strong, positive nature and organizational skills combined with her vivacious personality make her an essential part of the Lock team. Word on the street is that she can also leap tall buildings in a single bound, but we have yet to substantiate that claim.

Elda Pinckney
Elda Pinckney is our resident Pirate Queen. When not working as a Recruitment Coordinator in our Vancouver office she can be found setting sail on a pirate ship from Wreck beach or playing ocean Frisbee. For those of you familiar with Wreck Beach you know the dress code – essentially everything but the eye-patch is optional. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Alberta and worked for a number of years as an actress. More recently she changed focus and did administration and client services for dbc sound inc. (a post-production sound studio) followed by a diploma in HR Management from BCIT. She stills pursues her love of theatre, sings and plays the piano and guitar and also speaks both French and Spanish – though she tends to confuse them and it often comes out more like Franish or Spench. Her outgoing and fun nature coupled with her sense of adventure make her the perfect fit for our office – when she is not sailing the Spench Main, that is.

Sarah Ahira
When Sarah Ahira was asked what makes her the perfect person for her job as Administrative Assistant in our Vancouver office, without missing a beat she replied, “My sense of humour.” Good answer, we thought initially – we like a good laugh here at Lock and we certainly share that with our clients; they regularly remark on how they enjoy our unique blend of professionalism and fun. But then we started thinking, “Is she laughing AT us or WITH us? What, are we clowns performing for her amusement?” We went back and demanded clarification – didn’t she know we were a serious and professional operation? She told us that also her kindness, reliability, and outgoing nature suited her for the important work we do here at Lock and knew that we were valued by our clients for having experienced industry people performing as exceptional recruiters using their insight, experience and contacts to make the best placements. That’s better, we thought, at least she has read the website – but as we turned around we thought we detected the hint of a smile at the corners of her mouth.
