Points of inspiration: building relationships
Paul earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and then excelled in the sales divisions of both Pitney Bowes and Livingston International, winning several President’s Awards for performance. He joined Lock Search Group a decade ago and has quietly earned a reputation as one of the best Recruitment Consultants in Atlantic Canada.
On more than one occasion Paul has assisted companies looking to expand into the U.S., and earned kudos for the outcomes. He is fully networked throughout Canada, maximizing the opportunities for both clients and candidates to discover opportunities regionally and nationally. A respecter of timelines and budgets, Paul applies his experience and knowledge to making things happen with efficiency.
A genuine people person, he recounts examples of why he plans to remain a Lock Consultant:
- A nice thank-you note or call from a newly placed candidate to tell you things are going well and they love their new career
- A client company commenting on the high caliber and fit of the candidates presented for an open role
- A newly promoted past candidate calling you to thank you for the original introduction to a great company
He unwinds after work with undisputed talent at his backyard BBQ, as well as cheering on the Habs and the Patriots.
There is nothing so satisfying after a stressful day as having my 8-year-old ask “Hey Dad, did you find someone a new job today?”
