    With exciting challenges and opportunities ahead, Trinity Western is seeking a new Executive Director, Human Resources, who will lead the HR team and be a strategic partner to the various departments of the University. Partnering closely with the Senior VP Business Administration, the Executive Director, Human Resources will develop, drive and implement key HR strategies and alignment of Trinity Western’s strategic plan. The Executive Director will lead a team of HR professionals in the delivery of a high level of service and expertise to the university community that will ensure best practices and oversight on recruitment, inclusive excellence, performance management, training and development, compensation, health and wellness, and HRIS. The Executive Director will actively engage members of the University community in the achievement of its people goals through collaboration, relationship building and best HR practices.

    The ideal candidate is an experienced, diverse, thoughtful, collaborative HR professional who values the core fundamentals of Trinity Western, the people and the community. At least ten years of experience in a senior role in Human Resources is desired, along with experience in Strategic Planning, Leadership, Recruitment and HR Management. Proven experience in managing operational and capital budgets, implementing governance and management structures, identifying present and potential future opportunities and challenges is also desired. The Executive Director, Human Resources must be an effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and strong leadership abilities. Preferred candidates will have the ability to understand and deal objectively with complex situations, and will provide sound advice as required, based on a strong business acumen that supports best practices. The ideal candidate will be an evangelical Christian leader who is committed to serve in work, church, family and community.
