  • Our client is a medical devices company dedicated using light to alleviate the pain and negative impacts of many common diseases. They are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their stellar team in Toronto, ON.

    The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, and direct administrative functions such as recruitment or employee documentation and will be the point of contact for all HR related queries for all stakeholders. The HR Manager will consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organization's management and its employees. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

    General Responsibilities:
    • Support and work with COO on various administrative HR matters
    • Assist other departments with queries related to HR
    • Ensure Vacation/Leave documentation is enforced, maintained, and reported to COO
    • Identify issues with staffing and plan a solution
    • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes and assist where needed
    • Provide current and prospective employees with information regarding policies, job duties and working conditions
    • Maintain HRIS database
    • Represent organization at personnel related hearing and investigations
    • Prepare budgets, reports, presentations as needed
    • Conduct quarterly audits as a Health & Safety designate, to comply with the Ministry of Health
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Degree in Business, or a related field
    • Pursuing or completed the CHRP designation
    • 3+ years of experience in a related field
    • Strong understanding of applicable employment laws
    • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications
