    Our client, a disrupt0r in the plant-based food space, has created through Food Science technology a unique product that is set to carve out a new category. We are seeking a tungsten sharp Marketing leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge of the global CPG market to join the leadership team as they set out to build a remarkable business. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for the Marketing ethos for the company. In the position you will be tasked with creating strategic marketing strategies across all digital platforms, building brand strategies that cater to specific markets, advertising and public relations, using market research to create marketing campaigns and managing pricing and product analysis to support the sales of the company. 

    Responsibilities:
    • Drive brand strategy and development in the North American, European and APAC markets 
    • Work in conjunction with creative resources in development, refinement and roll-out brand visual identity and image revitalization. Lead concept meetings to ensure all marketing materials have a consistent brand tone for a coherent company image
    • Develop marketing programs to enhance the customer (both trade and consumer) experience at all key touch points and build trigger responses. Provide marketing and creative focus on developing messaging communications and programs that will influence behaviour and build longer-term brand perception 
    • Lead and develop all functions of E-Commerce for the company with specific focus on profitability and consumer reach
    • Provide data driven insights on product development specific to new categories and channel opportunities 
    • High engagement with the leadership team on PR for innovation and product launches 
    • Ensure “best in class” delivery of all branded initiatives that will differentiate and elevate from competitive offerings                       
    • Strategically manage projects, so they meet creative and business objectives and where necessary by channel. Drive tactical execution of marketing initiatives
    • Manage project schedules and deliverables to assure results are delivered on-time and on budget. This includes promotional and new product creative development as well as daily communication requirements
    • Through internal resources and agencies, manage social media strategy and digital presence
    • Provide forward-thinking structural input on how the Marketing team should be built out as the company continues to grow
    • Full P&L management of the Marketing budget 
    • Coordination with Private Label partners for brand strategy and execution through the sales team 
    Qualifications:
    • 10 + years as a Marketing Leader, preferably for a CPG Food company 
    • University degree with a focus on Marketing or Business. MBA preferred 
    • High level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems. Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
    • Strong understanding and executional experience across major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube)
    • Highly developed written (business and creative) and verbal communication skills, tact, assertiveness, and business acumen
    • Hands on team player and organizational leader with the ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally to achieve optimal results
    • Exceptional organizational skills with strong detail orientation, strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
    • Deep understanding of product and brand development and distribution through Retail, Food Service and Industrial channels 
    • Entrepreneurial spirit coupled with the intellectual curiosity and personal drive to “make a difference
    • Excellent presentation and selling skills across multiple audiences of management and national
