Territory Sales Manager – HVAC

  • Our client, a multinational air conditioning manufacturing company, is looking for a Territory Sales Manager in the Southwestern Ontario region. The future Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, maintaining, developing and growing a volume driven base of company’s core dealers.

    Key responsibilities:
    • Manages and develops business partnerships in the area for which she/he is responsible.
    • Plans and implements Sales growth strategies in order to grow a volume driven and base of core dealers.
    • Targets and signs-up Dealers within assigned territory.
    • Maintains and improves sales revenue and gross margin
    • Maintains an accurate call history within the CRM system
    • Works with Branch Managers and their teams to increase sales within the assigned branches within territory.
    • Ensures client have all the information they require to maintain and exceed customer service expectations – Dealer training and development
    • Recommends and implements differentiating sales strategies, programs and promotions.

    • Bachelor's degree or other degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant field.
    • Technical certificate in related industry- big asset.
    • Minimum 5 plus years Sales experience within the HVAC industry.
    • Complete understanding of the HVAC contracting business.
    • Dealer acquisition experience and dealer training.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • Customer service skills, with the ability to generate new business. 
    • Ability to influence, negotiate, interact and sell to a wide spectrum of clients.
    • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
    • Organizational and time management skills along with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint including database applications - CRM
    • Ability to read and interpret construction documents/drawings.
    • Knowledge of HVAC products strongly preferred – technical/mechanical background
    • Ability to apply good judgement, decision making skills, strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
