  • My client is a fast growing SaaS company based in Vancouver. As a global provider of services connecting businesses with their clients, they are working with some of the world’s most recognizable and respected brands. As they are experiencing high growth, we have an excellent opportunity for experienced Vice President of Sales to join this exciting and growing tech company. 

    The Vice-President of Sales, is responsible to build, develop and manage a team of Business Development and Enterprise Account Executives. Focused on acquisition and building new business relationships throughout North America and internationally, this is a phenomenal opportunity for an experienced sales leader to help lead and drive growth of this Vancouver based company globally!

    Responsibilities:
    • Build, lead and manage a team of Business Development and Enterprise Account Executives
    • Consistently recruit and build a strong talent pipeline of sales professionals
    • Train and mentor sales professionals
    • Develop solid sales strategies and lead the implementation of the strategic plan that aligns with the overall corporate strategy
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and Channel Partnership divisions
    • Develop and refine compensation and incentive plans to motivate and reward sales team to achieve and exceed targets
    • Manage and monitor key performance metrics – overall revenue, sales growth,  profit, cost of sale, cost of acquisition and market share
    • Provide market intel, trends and insight to peers on the leadership team and CEO 
    • Compile and review quantitative sales data for strategic decisions
    •  and react rapidly to changing trends or new competitive threats and opportunities

    Qualifications:
    • Post-secondary education in business, with a preference for a Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications ideal
    • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in senior sales leadership position in SaaS
    • Proven success and experience in building and developing a high performance sales team
    • Experience in leading business/sales development representatives and Account Executives teams
    • Experience with developing and implementing sales strategies
    • Experience in building and evaluating compensation and total reward plans
    • Excellent organization, time management and project management skills
    • Excellent communications and presentation skills
    • Charismatic leader
    • Ability to adapt in fast growing technology environments
    • Experience with Salesforce an asset
    • Experience in providing training and helping client adopt to new technologies
    • Results and performance oriented
