Account Manager (Wholesale Electrical)

This individual will be responsible for aggressively developing the business by prospecting new customers and creating mutually beneficial business opportunities. This role also delivers a high level of service to current customers by promoting the total Company product offering to fulfill their needs. This position provides the highest quality customer care following corporate objectives and revenue goals.
What you will be doing:
- Promote and sell products and services to existing customers
- Actively seek new customers in the territory
- Attain revenue targets per Business Plan
- Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings
- Prepare estimates and quote pricing, credit terms, warranties, and delivery dates
- Ensure compliance with company sales policy
- Strive for continuous growth and improvement
- Team up with other sales specialists where appropriate to leverage total solution capability
The experience you bring:
- Diploma/Degree (Technical or Business preferred)
- 3+ years of relevant sales or industry experience
- Passion for sales and a "hunter" mentality
- Knowledge of the wholesale electrical industry is considered an asset
- Knowledge of wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Excellent time management, organizational, and negotiating skills
- Strong spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Travel is required
- Overtime as required
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
