    Lock Search Group is collaborating with a leading organization specializing in material handling, storage, and automated systems solutions. We are in search of a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join their team. This role will play a crucial part in propelling market growth for their line of material handling equipment and related offerings within the Region of Peel.
     
    Responsibilities:  
     
    • Proactively engage potential customers through cold calling, emails, visits, and networking.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with new customers to ensure a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
    • Identify customer needs and customize solutions utilizing their range of products and services.
    • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits and new features.
    • Collaborate closely with the sales team to accomplish organizational objectives.
    • Research and price products/services, obtain management approval, and prepare formal quotations.
    • Promote products and services through networking, engage with relevant groups, and attend meetings.
    • Develop forecasts, create customer and competitor profiles, and prepare annual business plans for growth.
     
    Qualifications:
     
    • Demonstrated B2B sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in sales.
    • A mindset focused on growth and problem-solving.
    • Strong integrity, work ethic, and proactive approach.
    • Track record of successfully converting prospects, closing deals, and meeting sales targets.
    • Proficiency in opportunity assessment, pre-visit planning, and account development.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
