    Our client, a global Pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong IT/Technology background to join their Digital Leadership Team. You will play a critical role in accelerating the company’s technology capabilities. This role is based out of the Greater Toronto Area. 

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Accelerate Tech capabilities in support of the company’s vision to become the most trusted, digital biopharma company.
    • Serve as coach and change catalyst with focus on humanizing technology, empowering people and accelerating digital capability building.
    • Develop, strengthen and leverage strong ties to internal and external innovation and technology community.
    • Partner cross-functionally to bridge digital leverage points in patient and customer journeys with technology.
    • Build, strengthen and leverage networks in healthcare and technology eco-system in close coordination with cross-functional partners.
    • Drive process optimization and tool simplification.
    • Support local implementation and adoption of various Tech solutions.
    • Lead Technology Specialist, managing performance, and serve as coach for wider organization to empower our people, embed growth mindset.
    • Model cross-functional engagement with relentless internal and external customer focus, as well as acute awareness of environmental trends and disruption in healthcare technology.
    • Serve as coach and change catalyst to humanize technology, empower people and accelerate digital capability building.
    • Provide insights and guidance to inform and/or make decisions related to Digital and Technology.
    • Manage expense budget as set together with Digital Leadership Team and Finance 
    • Define and manage Tech-related performance metrics.
    • Act as trusted partner and solution provider for commercial and medical teams.
    • Develop, strengthen and leverage strong ties to internal and external innovation and technology community.
    • Drive implementation and adoption of new tools / platforms and updates to existing technology.
    • Continuously scan environment for sources of disruption to current business model as well as innovation opportunities addressing specific customer needs.
    Qualifications:
    • University degree required.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience with commercial IT/technology support, ideally in healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
    • Exceptional leadership, influencing and communication skills.
    • In-depth understanding of the stakeholders in Canadian healthcare, the digital health ecosystem, and pharmaceutical business model.
    • Proven ability to combine entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Strong leadership skills to ensure successful implementation of activities.
