    General Responsibilities:


    1. Support the CFO in shaping strategies, drive results, challenge and improve, lead innovation, and inspire and influence
    2. Build, mentor and lead a talented team who focuses on driving profitability.
    3. Be a trusted advisor and support the CFO in making the right decision for the business through best-in-class financial management practices and accurate financial data.
    4. Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring financial strategies, policies & procedures, accounting, and control, treasury, and taxation strategy.
    5. Leverages and augments existing systems to provide accurate, reliable, and meaningful reporting, analysis, and insight to meet the complex needs of internal and external stakeholders. Identify gaps in capability and implement solutions that improve functionality and efficiency.
    6. Accountable for the overall engagement, productivity, turnover, and bench strength of the team
    7. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
    8. Manage the preparation of the forecasting process including annual budget and 5 years strategic forecast
    9. Manage periodic cash flow and working capital



    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
    2. CPA designation
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
    • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment required. Aerospace or Automotive is an asset.
    • ERP implementation experience is an asset
    • Demonstrated compliance with bank norms, international and national taxes, SOX by-laws, OSHA
    • Established and maintained relationships with external service providers including bank, auditors, insurance, customers and suppliers, corporate consultants
    • Managed and performed regular audits of the financial/operation system to ensure high integrity, strong internal controls, and audit preparations
    • Experience in mentoring, managing, leading, and developing staff
    • Knowledge of AS9100 and/or other industry compliance regulations
