Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing financial operations and performance of the division.
- Conduct analysis, monitoring, and reporting of division's financial performance, including sales, expenses, headcount, and key indicators.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in alignment with strategic and operational plans.
- Contribute to the monthly rolling forecast process, providing recommendations for sales expectations.
- Collaborate with forecasting and business teams to analyze and communicate sales results and trends.
- Prepare financial presentations for results, strategies, and planning.
- Manage sales, pricing, and commercial conditions, including finance support for product launches.
- Assess the financial impacts of new and existing contracts and approve contract amendments.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and lead projects as needed.
- Review and maintain policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about market dynamics and associated challenges and risks.
- Coordinate with the Finance team on various topics, such as month-end close and audits.
- Monitor risks and assist with risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Professional Designation (CA, CMA, CGA) or MBA is preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in Finance; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- High attention to detail and quality with ability to operate effectively under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills as well as communication skills to build commitment and create trust.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Solid grasp of evolving technology platforms, processes and controls.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work effectively with cross-functional partners and drive process improvement initiatives across an organization.
- Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solver and proven experience working collaboratively
- Knowledge of SAP/TM1/Essbase/Hyperion experience an asset
