    We are a family office firm dedicated to expanding the independent Insurance and Insurtech industry worldwide. Our veteran teams and rare resources have helped to establish and develop a portfolio of more than a dozen independent Insurance, Insurtech, Media, and Health businesses in markets including the US, the UK, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, and Japan, to name a few.

    While these businesses are privately run and have individual product lines, they all share the mission of bringing ideas that can enhance the lives of individuals - ideas backed by the best new and unconventional viewpoints, research, and strategies - to the global marketplace.
     
    The Role:

    As the group CTO, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our technology vision, strategy, and roadmap to support the ambitious growth objectives across each of our businesses. You will oversee & lead talented teams of technology professionals, collaborate closely with business leaders, and harness emerging technologies to enhance our products and services.     Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and objectives.
    • Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and trends, and leveraging them to create competitive advantages.
    • Lead and inspire a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of technology projects, adhering to quality, budget, and timeline constraints.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including executives, to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business growth.
    • Manage the technology budget effectively, allocating resources to align with strategic priorities and maximize ROI.
    • Provide TCO for products and business units
    • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, data privacy protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with external vendors, partners, and stakeholders to support technology initiatives.
    • Attract, retain, and develop top technology talent, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge required for success.
     
    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience in a CTO or similar executive technology leadership role, with a track record of strategic leadership and innovation.
    • Strong background and deep knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends, with the ability to translate technology into business solutions.
    • A deep knowledge of, and experience in the Insurance/Insurtech Industries.
    • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing technology teams across multiple locations.
    • Not above rolling up your sleeves when required to get done what needs to be done
    • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align technology with business goals.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, data privacy regulations, and regulatory compliance in relevant industries.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, while an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
    • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technological landscape and leverage emerging technologies for competitive advantage.
