    Are you an experienced HR Manager looking for a new opportunity? Lock Search Group is pleased to present an opportunity to join a company in the Building Materials industry. Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager to be based in Grand Forks, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing human resources management services. 

    What you will be doing:

    • Be involved and help manage labor relations, including collective bargaining process, documentation management, grievance proceedings, etc.
    • Benefits and claims management
    • Administer wage and salary related activities
    • Creating and updating policies and procedures as required
    • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from initial discussions with hiring managers, to pre-employment testing, onboarding, etc.
    • Ensure legislative compliance
    • Communicate effectively to all employees within the organization
    • Actively involved in internal employee development and retention

    The experience you bring:

    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience with labour relations
    • Post-Secondary Degree (Human Resources Management or equivalent experience preferred)
    • 5+ years’ related experience
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing timelines

    Additional details:

    • Salary is ~$105K+
    • Relocation package available (will provide more details if interested)!
