    Our client is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their commercial team in Canada, covering British Columbia, and based out of Vancouver. As an important and externally focused position, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets for their immunology portfolio, including already launched and soon-to-launch medicines. 
     
    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 3 years in a specialty, hospital level capacity. In addition, the candidate must have a deep understanding of the management of gastroenterology and/or rheumatology disorders using biologics and a strong network within the assigned territory. The role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Medical, Sales, Patient Support, and Market Access.
     
    What you will be doing
     
    • Achieve sales objectives of assigned products through customer-focused, value-added activities.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor key account and territory plans.
    • Deliver on the value proposition for assigned products.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement value-added programs and implement innovative solutions.
    • Build strategic and long-term partnerships in the immunology/ biologics (biosimilars) space.
    • Demonstrate strong business ethics and make sound business decisions to drive growth and achieve high standards of business excellence.
    • Monitor performance of assigned sales territory, including YTD sales, activities, and budget.
    • Complete required administrative duties (expense reports, territory analysis, call reporting, etc.)
    • Work within regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.
    • Attend training programs and local/regional/national meetings.
    • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time (including evening and weekend work as required).
     
    The experience you bring:
     
    • 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in Specialty, Hospital Pharmaceuticals. 
    • In-depth knowledge of key account planning, use of CRM platforms, and patient support programs.
    • Track record of consistent, strong sales performance in specialty care.
    • Experience in biologics/biosimilars.
    • Strong understanding of how patient support programs function, with experience in working collaboratively with different aspects of patient support programs.
    • Proven analytical skills required to understand territory dynamics and plan for effective effort allocation.
    • Enthusiastic, strong initiative, high sense of urgency, competitive, and winning attitude.
    • Excellent communicator (verbal, written and presentations).
