Key Account Manager - Prairies
Do you have a mixture of Key Account Management and Leadership experience? This may be the role for you! Our client is looking for a Key Account Manager based in Calgary, Alberta. This individual will be responsible for managing sales within AB and leading the company growth across the Prairies.
What you will be doing:
- Lead key account sales growth
- Develop and lead a field sales team and ensure targets are met
- Encourage positive employee relations and lead an inclusive work environment
- Build and execute sales and expansion strategies
- Grow the business (new account and existing customer expansion)
- Keep up to date with evolving market trends and consumer needs
- Process management, budget management, and data management
- Customer relationship management
The experience you bring:
- Post-secondary education preferred
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Proven sales management experience, including creating and executing an annual strategy
- Proven experience seeking new opportunities, demonstrating initiative, and being proactive
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Work well under pressure, hard working, and result oriented
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in beverage/alcohol, CPG, or related field considered an asset
