    Our client is a Halifax-based property management company known for setting standards of excellence in residential accommodation, development, and commercial leasing. They are currently seeking a qualified Mall Manager. 

    Responsibilities
    • To provide support to the retail tenants, initiating meetings and identifying issues that could impact the operation of the Mall 
    • Overseeing staff to ensure properties are well maintained and ensuring all maintenance issues are addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner; 
    • Working with staff to ensure vacant spaces are leased, according to leasing procedures; 
    • Assisting in the development of budgets and completing financial reporting; 
    • Providing support to and supervising staff associated with the portfolio including conducting annual performance reviews. 
    • Vendor contract negotiation and scheduling 
    • Act as the Duty Manager for the Mall as and when required

    Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 to 5 years experience as a Mall Manager or Supervisor 
    • Professionalism and accountability, high energy, personable, great people skills and customer service focused 
    • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, local area knowledge, excellent written and verbal communication skills 
    • Effective, proven leadership skills with previous supervisory experience 
    • Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently 
    • Good computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
