Manager of Quality Assurance (QA)/ Quality Control (QC)

Do you have 3+ years of QA/QC Management experience with a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification and are looking for a new opportunity? This may be the role for you! Our client is seeking a Manager of QA/QC in Chilliwack, British Columbia. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all processes, products, and services meet the highest standards of quality.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee all quality related systems and programs.
- Safeguard proper interpretation, compliance of reports, and regulations relating to applicable regulatory requirements.
- Write, review, update, and enforce policies and procedures in continuous compliance with the GMP and DEL regulations.
- Train, coach, and support team, as well as provide guidance to all other areas of the facility as it relates to quality.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices within the applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct random quality control checks.
- Lead analytical investigations including examination of results, generation of reports, root-cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Analyze reports and data to identify trends and recommend revisions where applicable.
- Ensure paper and computer records are up-to-date and compliant.
The experience you bring:
- 3+ years QA/QC management experience.
- Post secondary degree in a related field (preferable in microbiology).
- GMP certification with experience working in a lab with a Drug Establishment License (DEL).
- Knowledge and understanding of Good Production Practices (GPP).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
- Knowledge of analytical microbiology and chemistry.
- Solid computer skills (including MS Office Excel and database management).
