National Sales Development Manager

  • Our client is a BC based company and an industry leading manufacturer of high end commercial and residential skylights. They are looking for a National Sales Development manager to join their team. if you are a results-driven leader this may be the role for you.


    Responsibilities:

    • Manage sales training programs for new hires and annual meetings for all sales staff
    • Collaborate with sales team and distribution channel partners to ensure they have the tools and skills for success
    • Monitor and analyze sales activities and results; identify any gaps and provide solutions
    • Communicate effectively to sales team, sales channels and distribution partners
    • Work directly with wholesalers and retailers, dealers and manufacturers; identify and manage sales strategies for existing and new customers
    • Work closely with the Vice President to develop business goals and objectives, product and service offerings and challenges
    • Evaluation of existing team members and responsible for hiring and training Territory Sales Representatives
    • Review negotiation of major contracts and ensure agreements support the financial success of the business


    Qualifications:

    • You have a track record of success in a regional or national sales capacity
    • Ability to drive significant sales volume and manage margins
    • University degree or diploma in marketing, business, or a related discipline
    • Ability to build an effective sales team
    • Ability to leverage technology in the development of effective sales tools
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Bilingual in English and French would be an asset


    The compensation package for this role includes salary + uncapped bonus, car allowance and gas, RRSP match program and extended benefits.
