    Jay Pinniger of Lock Search Group is currently working with an Industrial leader which supports operations across North America. They are seeking a Product Manager to be responsible for managing and growing market share within the Alberta market. Our client has touch points in many industries. Reporting to the VP of Sales the Product Manager plays a major role in pricing strategy both day-to-day market pricing and project pricing. The Product Manager's role involves advancing sales and earnings in alignment with corporate initiatives for the Pre-Insulated product portfolio. This position entails coordinating the efforts of Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Research & Development, and Inventory Control/Distribution to deliver end-user specific products to the market promptly and cost-effectively. 

    Position Overview:

    • Consistently monitor and optimize pricing strategies for maximum profitability, striking a balance between competitiveness, growth, and profitability.
    • Assist the sales team, customers, and partners in delivering the right solution and value to end-users.
    • Develop and update marketing, technical, and SAP content across various platforms (website, content, ASM Toolbox, printed materials, catalogues, etc.), ensuring list pricing and other essential data are current with support from the marketing team.
    • Analyze different segments and collaborate with leadership to determine the most effective strategic approach.
    • Craft a three-year roadmap for our products, outlining our vision and plans for the future.
    • Support and execute marketing plans and campaigns targeting both markets and products, aiming for revenue growth and increased brand exposure.
    • Contribute to our company culture by being helpful, responsive, and respectful.
    • Align actions with values, communicate information positively, clearly, and with data-driven insights when interacting with others.
    • Provide constructive feedback and appropriate follow-up.
       

    Requirements:
     
    • Mechanical aptitude and mechnical interest is a must 
    • Hold a university degree in engineering or a field relevant to marketing and business.
    • Possess 5 to 7 years of experience in the development of Product Management.
    • Experience in innovation and product development is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with industrial piping systems and applications is essential.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in working with mathematical concepts, including probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
    • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills – ability to sell to plant operations personnel, engineers and maintenance leadership.
    • Possess a valid driver's license and passport (some travel to the US will be necessary).
    • Previous experience using Salesforce CRM
    • Comfortable with 30-50% domestic travel per month.
