In the food service industry, General Managers assume a crucial supervisory position, offering leadership and making decisions to steer the restaurant. Jackson Stewart of Lock Search Group has another client in the hospitality space looking to add a leadership position.  The expanding local ownership group, currently operating 7 restaurants under their brand, seeks to incorporate a General Manager into their organization.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring its smooth and efficient functioning while upholding the highest standards of service, quality, and safety. Your leadership skills, business acumen, and passion for hospitality will drive the team to deliver exceptional experiences to our valued guests.

Responsibilities:
•    Responsible for the recruitment, selection, and training of restaurant personnel, encompassing servers and hosts.
•    Organizing employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
•    Enhancing restaurant operations to optimize the overall guest experience.
•    Overseeing restaurant finances, including sales and expenditures.
•    Enforcing strict adherence to food handling regulations and safety guidelines to safeguard guests.
•    Implementing strategies to boost restaurant visibility and attract a larger customer base.
•    Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively.
•    Managing essential paperwork, including sales, inventory, and staff attendance reports.
•    Adhering to service standards, budgeting P&L, effectively managing expenditures
•    Scheduling communications

Qualifications:
•    Proven experience as a Restaurant l Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
•    Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
•    Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics to drive revenue and profitability.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and guests.
•    Extensive knowledge of food safety and handling standards.
•    Solid track record in developing and implementing successful marketing and promotional strategies.
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a focus on quality and service.
