• Senior Logistics & Transformation Manager

    Job Summary
    Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Logistics & Transformation Manager. The role involves leading logistics operations, optimizing supply chain processes, and driving cross-functional collaboration for project implementation. This position requires strategic thinking, strong logistics expertise, and the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships. The individual will also be responsible for overseeing third-party logistics (3PL) performance and ensuring efficiency across multiple product lines.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead cross-functional teams through New Product Launches, aligning timelines with marketing and sales activities.
    • Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
    • Collaborate with teams across procurement, production, sales, and finance to align market strategies with business goals.
    • Lead, coach, and manage the 3PL team to achieve objectives and deliver best practices.
    • Establish and review KPIs for logistics/warehousing, regularly assessing performance.
    • Oversee warehouse contract negotiations and manage transportation, route optimization, and freight cost control.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in warehouse operations.
    • Negotiate with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely, cost-efficient deliveries.
    • Develop and implement a logistics strategy aligned with organizational goals.
    • Create long-term plans for transportation, distribution, and inventory management to support business growth.
    • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions for transformational changes.
    • Utilize Transportation Management Systems (Nexus) and Oracle Cloud (WMS) to enhance tracking, streamline operations, and improve accuracy.
     
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • 7+ years of experience in supply chain logistics, transportation management, or related leadership roles.
    • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management in the logistics context.
    • Proficiency in logistics software and technology.
    • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
    • Strong project management and change management skills.
    • Proven leadership and team motivation abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and management.
