This position will oversee the management and development of accounts across Ontario. 


    Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, you will contribute to the success of the company by developing business opportunities and managing customer relations for retail and food service in the field. In the context of your duties, you will be asked to act as a goodwill ambassador for the company Brand within the foodie community at all levels.



    Manage Existing Customers

    • Develop promotional calendars and sales plans in collaboration with your supervisor, and support their implementation with distributors and end users to optimize impact,
    • Support the relationship with distributors and act as a bridge with important end users in collaboration with your supervisor,
    • Analyze sales reports to measure the return of each action and recommend changes in strategy relative to the results attained,
    • Initiate means to increase customer engagement with the organization and its products (promotions, spiffs, contests, POP displays etc),
    • Generate a monthly report of activities and of initiatives underway as well as next steps,
    • Manage tasks as determined from time to time by your supervisor.

    Develop New Customers/Markets

    • Identify new customer leads in retail and foodservice
    • Organize for sampling, cuttings, and product presentations,
    • Visit prospects and follow-ups required,
    • Prepare quotes in collaboration with the supervisor, head office sales and marketing team,
    • Propose ideas and tools to better assist customers,
    • Participate in the development of sales tools.

    Perform Market Intelligence

    • Collaborate with your supervisor and the head office sales and marketing team
    • Investigate product, market, pricing, and promotional data intelligence in the market for which you have responsibilities. Perform the same concerning competitive intelligence.
    • Assemble observations and collect data
    • Highlight learnings and impact observed
    • Evaluate means to establish to better address competition (time, money, deliverables)
    • Contribute actively to the development of the marketing plan for Ontario


    • A minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience and or outside sales with a record of successful performance in the food industry.
    • A college degree is preferred or a proven history in sales experience.
