    Jackson Stewart of Lock Search Group is currently working with a Western Canadian leading Restaurant Group. This Renowned brand is looking for a Service Manager to join their North Vancouver location. The Service Manager is responsible for day-to-day shift management, including peak times, shoulder periods, and guest-first role modeling to maximize marketing and sales opportunities. They oversee recruitment, training, development, scheduling, and performance management of the Service team. Additionally, they foster a positive working environment, maintain open communication, ensure adherence to standards and policies, meet financial targets, and service standards while actively monitoring guest satisfaction and sales opportunities through observation and feedback.
     
    Responsibilities:

    • Fostering a passion for service as a top priority.
    • Overseeing the recruitment, training, development, scheduling, and performance evaluation of Service team members.
    • Proficiently managing daily shifts with a focus on comprehensive daypart awareness. This entails leading by example as a guest-centric role model, maintaining a physical presence during peak hours, ensuring consistent service quality throughout all operational hours (including slower periods), offering assistance when needed,
    • Collaborating with the Service team to enhance their skills, and optimizing marketing and sales opportunities.
    • Cultivating and participating in a constructive work environment while nurturing transparent communication between management and team members
    • Fostering collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
    • Ensuring strict adherence to all established standards and policies, encompassing safety protocols, food preparation and presentation guidelines, timing precision, and cleanliness benchmarks.
    • Attaining financial objectives linked to front-of-house operations, including targets for average guest spend, labor cost management, and productivity goals.
    Qualifications:
     
    • Prior Service Background with Supervisory Experience Preferred
    • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service is a fundamental requirement. 
    • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, are crucial in this role. 
    • High Energy and a Dedication to Excellence
    • Experience in training and developing others is highly valued.
