This is a Hybrid position. The preferred candidate should be located in the Greater Toronto Area.
Responsibilities:
- Identify grant opportunities, create persuasive proposals, and manage end-to-end grant processes
- Collaborate to pinpoint SR&ED-eligible projects, document processes, and craft technical reports for claims
- Build relationships with fund sources, government representatives, and partners; lead during SR&ED audits
- Align proposals with available funding
- Contribute to holistic grant and SR&ED strategy development in line with organizational goals
- Offer insights to diversify funding sources, optimize the portfolio and communicate effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus (with a preference for an Engineering degree)
- Proven expertise in grant management, funding acquisition, and SR&ED
- Strong analytical skills and a keen financial acumen
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Seamless collaboration across teams and functions
- Detail-oriented with remarkable organizational and project management capabilities
- Familiarity with pertinent regulations and compliance standards
- Demonstrated aptitude in cultivating relationships within funding and SR&ED communities, and maintaining stakeholder connections
