• Trust Officer – Trusts and Estates
     
    As a boutique independent firm specializing in individual and corporate Finance, Trusts and Estates, our client is growing quickly and looking to add a Trust Officer to their team in Vancouver. With growing demands in this service area, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in Trusts, where you will be building and managing a portfolio of clients’ estate, trusts and agency accounts.     Responsibilities:
    • Build relationships with existing clients and manage their accounts and needs
    • Identify new opportunities and build relationships with partners to develop new business
    • Responsible to manage client requirements around trust, power of attorney, probates, executorship, wills etc.
    • Identify emerging trends, challenges and technological developments that may impact business
    • Work with and build internal and external relationships to support clients needs
    • Maintain operational and administrative responsibilities
    • Develop a solid understanding of client requirements and create and maintain comprehensive advice plans to meet their needs
    Qualifications:
    • Post-secondary education with a concentration on Business or Finance preferred
    • Minimum of 3+ years experience in finance related industry servicing clients needs
    • Experience in working in trusts, wills and estates an asset
    • Working towards or have the Canadian Securities Course, would be an asset
    • Have or working towards the TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner) designation an asset
    • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong relationship skills
