• VP of Marketing
    As one of the countries leaders in the alternative mortgage and finance industry, we are partnered exclusively with our client to help meet the needs of their growing organization. We are actively seeking a VP of Marketing in the Greater Vancouver area, who will be responsible for all marketing and market development functions throughout Canada. 
    Collaborating with the executive team, the VP of Marketing is responsible for the strategic development of the marketing plan, it’s implementation, execution and measurement of its success. As a proven expert in marketing, we are looking for an innovative, driven marketing professional with proven leadership experience. 
    Responsibilities
    • As part of Leadership Team, contribute to guiding principles of the business including vision and strategic direction
    • Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and plan
    • Conduct regular business reviews for the leadership team, offering insights from a marketing perspective, including but not limited to industry activity and opportunities within the competitive landscape 
    • Assume full accountability for the marketing division’s national budget.  
    • Oversee all marketing initiatives and identify opportunities to capture new segments.
    • Elevate the customer acquisition practices with the team including technical sophistication and experimentation with new technologies 
    • Ensure alignment of annual marketing plans with the vision and strategic growth plans as established by the executive team
    • Perform regular analysis of key metrics for data extraction, management and insights to provide an accurate depiction of market activity to leadership.
    • A very hands on position, the VP must be comfortable dealing with the high level strategy as well as being involved on the tactical side – you’re getting right in the thick of things! 
    • Manage and develop relationships with the external marketing partners
    • Continually develop and implement new program and initiatives that deliver value to customers
    • Strategic direction for the marketing operations short term and long term specific to product offerings, campaigns and branding efforts

    Requirements
    • Business Degree, MBA preferred
    • Minimum 10+ years of marketing leadership experience
    • Experience in digital marketing, with strong understanding of lead generation and client acquisition
    • Expertise in SEO, paid digital and strong understanding or marketing data and analytics
    • Experience in both traditional and digital media buying concepts and processes 
    • Has experience developing, managing and growing a brand
    • Collaborative leadership style and focus on facilitating outcomes with a team 
    • Superior communication skills 
    • Analytical marketing mindset and proven success leveraging and optimizing data to grow marketing channels in a highly competitive industry
    • Strong relationship building skills and sales management background 
    • Ability to motivate and encourage continual improvement 
    • Agile, entrepreneurial approach to business
