Account Executive, Commercial Insurance - Kamloops
Partnered with a global insurance leader, my client is actively growing their business in Western Canada. I’m currently recruiting exclusively for my client for an Account Executive to help develop their general commercial lines insurance business throughout British Columbia, based out of their Kamloops branch. As an Insurance Account Executive, we are looking for driven, self-motivated sales professionals who have extensive knowledge of their local commercial insurance market and region.
The Account Executive is responsible for manage an existing book of business as well as to grow the book with new clients. As the primary contact to many of the mid-market clients, exceptional client management skills as well as the ability to work with the internal account teams are crucial. Developing account strategies, staying on top of market trends and providing leadership with intel is important. A strong P&C insurance experience is required, and if there’s specific vertical expertise or specialization, that would be an asset.

- 3+ years of commercial insurance industry experience
- BC General License Level 2 is required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong understanding of the sales process
- Excellent Account Management and Account Development skills
- Proven success in commercial insurance sales
- Previous experience managing or selling to accounts in the following industries are advantageous – Forestry, Construction, Mining, Resources, Public Sector or First Nations accounts
