    Our client is a leader within the Floor Covering Industry. They are currently seeking an Order Desk & Customer Service Agent, to be the face of their organization, managing the phone lines, incoming emails, and walk-in traffic at their Toronto location. This position is permanent, offers a competitive salary, benefits, and fantastic company perks!


    Key Responsibilities:
    • Service existing business accounts in the flooring & accessories industry
    • Answer customer calls regarding new orders, stock availability, pricing, etc. 
    • Guide / educate customers on new products and systems
    • Build relationships with customers and explore opportunities to increase purchase size
    • Be the face of the company for all walk-in/call-in traffic 
    • Follow-up and track orders, transfers, and back orders thru internal system
    • Always communicate in a friendly and professional manor
    • Other duties as assigned 

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years previous experience in a customer-facing position
    • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
    • Customer service focused with a willingness to help 
    • Motived by incremental income thru commission 
    • Computer/systems savvy
    • Passion to learn about new products
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced high energy environment 
    • Knowledge of the construction industry considered an asset (sales or installation) 
    • Possess a high level of integrity, passion, and teamwork 
    • Solutions-focused problem solver
    • Patience when leading with internal team and engaging with customers

    *In addition to regular business hours, the successful candidate will be required to work every 3rd Saturday (team rotation) from 8AM – 1PM*
