    Our client is a Global organization in the medical device industry. They have asked Michael Villeneuve of Lock Search Group to assist them in their search for a Global Product Manager to join their team. This position is based in the Quebec region.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervise members of the team and align objectives and performance towards the enterprise and the department’s strategies
    • Define development strategies for product portfolio as well as guiding and supporting the global sales organization in driving revenue, profitability and market share for the products including:
      • Develop firm and clear value propositions as guidance for product development
      • Develop and own the Product Development & the GTM (go to market) Strategy for the Category, inclusive of building of the commercial story and pricing strategy.
      • Develop competitive landscape knowledge and argumentations.
      • Own Product development and maintenance roadmaps.
      • Scoping and delivery of product requirements of product category into all R&D Product Development Projects, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) / Distribution Projects and any other inorganic growth projects.
      • Execution of PDP (product development process) and PMP (project management professional) projects in liaison with Project teams.
    • Measures portfolio’s periodic (Monthly, Quarterly and yearly) financial performance and address with key stakeholders where required to stop losses and /or accelerate growth.
    • Build constructive relationships with all relevant internal and external parties, suppliers, opinion leaders and customers.
    • Manage relationship with sales organizations, external agencies and develop key opinion leader relationships within product scope.
    • Identify/ attend key conferences in the safe patient handling segment where relevant.
    • Day to day management of product and product category life cycle
    • Manage budgets according to plans and/or established priorities.
    • Proactively get involved with quality challenges related to product line.
    • Manage Post Market Surveillance process for assigned product portfolio.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or Engineering
    • 5 + years of experience in marketing or product management within the Medical Devices, Health Care Products, Technical Health Products, or Pharma industry
    • Proven track record bringing market leading new products, services, and solutions to market
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
    • Valid driver’s license and willing to travel internationally
    • Good communication skills in both French and English is required
    • Ability to work with different cultures and time zones
    • Strong project management abilities

    • Strong business acumen
