Export Trader—Asian Market
Our client, a growing company located in the Montreal area, specializing in the import and export of food products is looking for an Export Trader, with ideally experience in trading meat, to cover their business in Asia, more specifically in the Philippines.
The core responsibility of the Export Trader will be business development. Through building strong customer relationships, the Trader will work to expand the global sales of the company for its meat segment.
Identify new markets and potential clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers in specified market.
Negotiate terms of sale with suppliers and customers.
Provide continuous customer service and monitoring of active international shipments.
Develop annual business plans in support of sales goals.
Bachelor’s degree in business or any other related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience in trading meat, a major asset.
English, verbal & written.
Other languages an asset.
Excellent communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset and driven by winning new clients.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and consistent customer focus.
Skilled in negotiating and managing contractual arrangements.
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work autonomously.
Passion for winning and delivering beyond expectations.
Ability to proactively find opportunities and solutions.
