    National Account Manager, Foodservice

    Our client is a market leading food company and they are currently looking for a National Account Manager of Foodservice to join their team in Mississauga, ON. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop the foodservice business while growing volume with existing accounts. This position reports directly to the Senior Food Service & Channel Development Manager. 
    Responsibilities:
    • Strategize and present Food Service Sales plan, marketing plans and new product launches to assigned broker/distributor/account
    • Developing the foodservice business and aligning it with overall organizational objectives and goals
    • Maintain relations with key trade/industry groups
    • Responsible for assigned broker, customer, channel, budget and trade
    • Work closely with cross functional teams to develop products, pricing and strategies 
    • Negotiating contracts 
    • Monitor profitability of all accounts and recommend changes
    • Analyzing and prioritizing projects 
    • Making informed decisions on customer/market strategies within allocated trade spend
    • Leading trade shows 
    • Recommend sales goals, trade spend, product launches, customer assortments, etc… to better the business overall
     
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, preferable food service
    • Degree or diploma in business or related fields
    • Ability to work with tight deadlines
    • Top notch negotiating skills
    • Understanding of broker network
    • Be able to make informed decision 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships
    • Work well under pressure and with teams
