    Our client, a leading and well-respected consumer packaged goods (CPG) company in Toronto is searching for a sharp, well-experienced professional to join their team for a 1-year contract as a Shopper Marketing Manager. This role will develop and execute the Shopper Marketing strategy across all product categories to maximize shopper engagement and influence. It is critical for this role to develop a solid understanding of retailer needs and key shopper trends and insights and, in turn, develop programs at retail that will align with companies' brand and customer development strategies. This role must work effectively cross-functionally to ensure all initiatives are executed flawlessly to deliver maximum in-store impact and ROI. 

    This role will have one direct report.

    • Shopper Marketing Programs - Special Project

    Main Requirements:

    • University Degree, preferably in Business
    • 5+ years experience within the CPG industry - prior shopper/trade/customer marketing experience strongly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of syndicated date (ie. Nielsen tools)
    • Strong knowledge of customer strategies as it relates to Category Management, Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing and Promotion
    • Skilled in discerning key category and shopper insights
    • Skilled in developing trade and sales strategies
    • Skilled with strategic planning and deployment of various sales programs
    • Strong understanding of the Canadian CPG marketplace
