A leading Private Equity firm headquartered in Toronto is seeking a Chief of Staff to support and work directly with the CEO in driving strategic initiatives, managing special projects, and enhancing executive effectiveness across the organization. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, intellectually curious, and business-savvy individual with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders. This position requires someone who is both detail-oriented and able to see the big picture, with a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative or financial discipline (e.g., MSc in Mathematics, PhD, or MBA in Finance)
- Strong foundation in Mergers & Acquisitions, with experience managing or supporting deals from end to end
- Deep financial acumen with comfort navigating sophisticated financial models, projections, and valuations
- A strategic thinker with outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience supporting C-level executives or working in consulting, investment banking, or private equity environments is an asset
