Our client is a global leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of intelligent fluid-flow equipment, operating eight manufacturing facilities across four continents. Backed by nearly 100 years of expertise and continuing their growth trajectory, they are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to join their Western Canadian team as part of their international expansion.
JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales and business development across Alberta, driving growth for the company’s innovative solutions. This role involves managing the provincial sales team, executing strategic initiatives, and expanding partnerships with end-users, contractors, service providers, and OEMs. The position focuses on promoting advanced HVAC solutions that leverage digital technologies, IoT, analytics, and optimization strategies to drive revenue, strengthen customer relationships, and position the company as a leader in building lifecycle performance. Compensation for this position is very competitive as our client aims to acquire and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a solution-focused sales team for Building Lifecycle Performance Management Services.
- Plan and execute sales strategies, incentive programs, and campaigns to achieve regional objectives.
- Ensure broad market coverage across commercial HVAC, plumbing, service markets, consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate on joint territory goals for services, optimization, and energy upgrades.
- Drive channel development, expand client base, and enhance project win rates.
- Support service network growth, including training, onboarding, and dealer expansion.
- Coordinate with the service department on compliance, product launches, and warranty issues.
- Represent the company at site visits, seminars, and industry events to reinforce expertise.
- Maintain records, track performance, report metrics, and analyze customer feedback to improve market share.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide excellent service.
- Work closely with internal teams to align sales strategies and provide input for product and digital service development.
- Stay updated on HVAC trends, digital technologies, IoT solutions, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience - preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or service management within relevant industries.
- Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of building systems, HVAC solutions, and associated digital technologies.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships while consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage priorities effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to travel within the province.
