Ron Brown (1953-2008) was a Senior Consultant with Lock Search Group in Calgary for many years. He was a dynamic, much-loved individual who made a real impact on Alberta businesses. When he passed away tragically in 2008 we decided to honour him by establishing an education fund in his name.
The Ron Brown Scholarship Fund is a registered Canadian charity. Included in our fundraising activities, we sponsor the annual “Reeling for Ronnie” fishing tournament. The fishing tournament is presently in its 8th year and has raised close to $100,000.00.
All funds raised go towards scholarships for deserving university students who would not otherwise receive a higher education.
