POSITION OVERVIEW

The future General Manager will lead a growing air filtration sales and distribution business, driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer expansion. You will shape strategy, optimize day-to-day operations, and foster strong client relationships, leveraging your technical sales expertise to make a measurable impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive growth: Develop and execute a bold sales strategy that accelerates revenue, delights customers, and expands the client base in the air filtration industry.
  • Spot opportunities: Identify new markets, product lines, and strategic partnerships to broaden the company’s reach and strengthen its portfolio.
  • Lead operations: Oversee sales, distribution, inventory, and logistics to ensure peak efficiency and exceptional customer experience.
  • Manage finances: Own budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance to maximize profitability and business health.
  • Report and strategize: Keep the President informed with insightful performance updates, projections, and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance: Maintain strict adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and local/provincial laws.
  • Build relationships: Cultivate strong, lasting partnerships with key clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Shape the brand: Lead marketing initiatives and position the company as a top player in the market.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years of technical sales experience in air filtration or a related field.
  • Engineering Technologist, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent technical education is a strong asset.
  • Experience in sales, distribution, logistics, or HVAC/filtration industries is highly desirable.
  • Solid financial acumen with hands-on P&L management experience.
  • Proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, inventory management tools, and business software.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at high-stakes decision-making.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
