Inside Sales Representative – Commercial HVAC

Victoria, BC

Our client is an established national leader within the Commercial HVAC & Mechanical sector. With continuous growth and expansion, they are looking to add a Inside Sales Representative to their Victoria team. We are seeking a talented, proven inside sales individual who possesses a strong commitment to detail, and who thrives in a busy, challenging, and team-oriented environment. If you are a motivated professional, looking for your next challenge, and you have a "can do" attitude, this opportunity may be perfect. This position comes with excellent growth opportunities into leadership roles in Victoria as well.

The successful candidate will support technical commercial projects through direct customer internation, quotation, and technical solutions recommendations. With a strong attention to customer focused selling, the successful candidate will work to identify opportunities to promote company products and solution with contractors and engineering firms, for key customers and their projects in the commercial HVAC marketplace. Your dedication to courteous service and technical knowledge in HVAC will support a continuous pipeline of new business opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting current and new customers on HVAC projects supporting on a total value proposition
  • Responding to customer inquiries via email, in-person, over the phone.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clientele.  Relationship management is key.
  • Providing technical support, knowledge, and training to customers on HVAC products and solutions
  • Continuously developing professionally to better understand market trends, the products and services offered, to ensure growth and sales performance.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Outside Sales and Warehousing

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Experience in a distribution sector is a definite asset – HVAC equipment and Air Distribution knowledge is a must
  • Experience in prospecting and closing from an inside position would be extremely valuable
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to follow a sales process – pipeline management
  • Experience working with, managing, and utilizing software
  • Highly motivated and team-focused
  • Excellent time management, organization, and analytical skills
  • Ability to build immediate rapport, and engage customers is essential; with the goal of building long term relationships
  • Experience in developing and presenting quotations, packages, and pricing
