JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the National Sales Director, the National Sales Manager will lead sales activities tied to infrastructure and mining projects across Canada, with a strong focus on pre-insulated piping systems. The role involves leading a national sales organization comprising professionals across inside sales, customer service, and field sales.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute national and regional sales strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage a national sales team across field sales, inside sales, and customer service.
  • Own key territories and strategic accounts, focusing on retention, expansion, and new business development.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and key KPIs.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with distributors and channel partners.
  • Act as a senior commercial and technical resource for customers and partners.
  • Represent the organization in the market through customer visits, presentations, and industry events.
  • Maintain disciplined territory management, CRM usage, and reporting practices.
  • Share market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive information with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strong execution and customer experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in mechanical, civil, or electrical disciplines.
  • At least 8 years of experience in technical, business-to-business sales.
  • Proven ability to manage territories and lead sales teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and CRM skills.
  • Proficiency with standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong collaboration skills.
  • Confident, persuasive communicator with strong influencing ability.
  • Background or exposure to piping systems and/or electrical products is highly desirable.
