JOB SUMMARY
As Territory Manager for BC, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across both existing and new product lines within your assigned territory. You'll engage clinical decision-makers across hospital settings and private clinics, develop strategic account plans, and execute targeted sales initiatives, all while serving as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals in the orthopedic space. This is a mid-level, field-based role with strong autonomy and clear growth potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives across all product lines
- Conduct personalized, scheduled sales presentations to physicians, surgeons, and allied healthcare professionals within hospitals and private clinics
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clinical decision-makers, including contacts in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Trauma, Emergency Medicine, and Materials Management
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to continuously expand the customer base and grow market share
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans using data-driven insights, CRM tools, and market analysis
- Collaborate with internal sales resources, independent representatives, and distribution partners to maximize territory performance
- Organize and deliver product training seminars and educational sessions in line with sales strategy
- Manage consignment inventory where applicable, ensuring accurate counts and efficient stock rotation
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends, keeping leadership informed of developments that may impact sales positioning
- Submit timely and accurate territory reports, including expense management, while exercising sound judgment with company resources
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality at all times
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of direct field sales experience, preferably in medical devices or healthcare
- Prior experience in orthopedic, O&P, or physical therapy sales is a strong asset
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management capabilities
- Comfortable maintaining a rigorous travel schedule, with the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and territory reporting tools
Base Salary: ~$70-90K (to commensurate with experience)
