    Responsibilities:
    • Oversees and manages food and beverage preparation to uphold top-tier quality standards.
    • Executes food procurement and monitors inventory levels to uphold cost efficiency.
    • Organizes regular workplace inspections and conducts staff training, promptly addressing any incidents.
    • Maintains meticulous records of food-related metrics such as costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
    • Ensures continuous stocking of kitchen stations before and during service hours.
    • Handles employee scheduling and performance by providing training, coaching, evaluations, and mentoring.
    • Equips all staff with the necessary skills to meet company benchmarks in food quality, preparation, and customer service.
    • Upholds strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
    Qualifications:
    • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in food service management or a comparable blend of education and practical background
    • Preferably holds a diploma or degree in culinary arts
    • Demonstrated proficiency in cooking and production within a high-volume setting
    • Strong leadership and managerial capabilities with a proven track record in team development and retention
    • Preferably possesses Red Seal Certification or equivalent accreditation
    • Holds Serving It Right (BC) certification
    • Familiarity with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Provincial Health Regulations, and sanitation legislation
    • Proficient in the proper operation and upkeep of major kitchen equipment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Competent in MS Excel, word processing, email, and scheduling software
    • Experience working in a unionized environment is advantageous
    • Flexibility to work all shifts as required
    • Holds provincial certifications for alcohol service and food preparation
    • Knowledgeable about safety protocols and fire prevention/evacuation procedures
