    Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join their team in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, expanding, and managing strategic relationships with key customers.     What you will be doing:  
    Provide Strategic Account Management:
    • Develop and implement Key Account Planning to nurture long-term relationships.
    • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with key clients, fostering loyalty and mitigating the risk of clients transitioning to competitors
    • Drive action plan, collaborating with Category Managers to identify growth opportunities and initiate co-construction for lasting relationships.
    • Negotiate and propose solutions that address customer needs, steering the business towards successful outcomes.
    • Define monthly guidelines for Sales Team activities, collaborating with stakeholders.
    • Serve as a central contact point for key customers and internal teams.
    • Resolve customer issues promptly, maintaining trust and handling complaints effectively.
    • Conduct regular customer analyses using key account metrics and processes.
    • Provide coaching, training, and support to team members while identifying revenue opportunities.
    The experience you bring:
    • Proven experience in strategic account management, key planning, and client relationship-building.
    • Background in the Industrial or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector is preferred.
    • Successful track record in expanding customer relationships through effective negotiation.
    • Collaboration with Category Managers to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
    • Strong negotiation skills for delivering accurate and timely customer solutions.
    • Operational excellence in guiding sales team activities and serving as a central customer contact.
    • Proficiency in issue resolution, customer complaint handling, and trust maintenance.
    • Analytical skills for regular customer analyses using key metrics.
    • Ability to support team members through coaching, training, and revenue opportunity identification.
    • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce “Engage.”
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and French required.
    • Willingness and ability to travel within Canada and into the US.

    Compensation / Benefits:

    • Base: $100K
    • OTE Target of 22% with a ceiling of 37%, administered quarterly.
