Now they are seeking to expand their Canadian team, aiming to add a high-impact National Sales Representative. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will not only fuel the company’s continued growth but will be developed as bench strength within the organization for a future people leadership position within a 2–3-year timeframe.
JOB SUMMARY
This is a remote, field-based national role focused on driving growth across Canada in the underground infrastructure and plumbing markets. You will own the expansion of trenchless technology and coupling product lines while building strong, long-term relationships across the industry ecosystem.
Working closely with ownership and senior leadership, you will help shape national strategy, identify new opportunities, and execute a growth plan supporting continued expansion in Canada.
This is a strong fit for a technically minded, entrepreneurial sales professional with a hunter mindset and long-term leadership ambition. The role offers clear and structured potential for progression into a National Sales Manager role within 2–3 years, supported by defined performance milestones.
You’ll operate in a high-visibility environment with exposure to senior leadership, strategy discussions, and industry engagement through trade shows, associations, and key events—within a collaborative and steadily growing organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive national growth of trenchless technology product lines across Canada.
- Expand sales of coupling and related underground infrastructure products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, engineers, and distributors.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, supporting solution-based selling.
- Collaborate with leadership on national sales strategy and market expansion initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, association events, and conferences.
- Deliver product presentations, technical sessions, and lunch-and-learn programs across. the country.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of B2B technical sales experience.
- Background in infrastructure, underground utilities, municipal works, plumbing, construction, or related industries.
- Proven hunter mentality with a track record of winning new business.
- Strong relationship builder with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a highly autonomous, remote national role.
- Interest in long-term leadership and stepping into a National Sales Manager role.
- Ability to translate technical product knowledge into clear customer value.
- Availability to travel nationally across Canada (~50%) to support customers and business development activities.
