Branch Manager – Industrial

Greater Vancouver, BC

Our client is a proud Canadian company operating for 3 decades and a well-established leader in Power Tools, Accessories, Hand Tools, and more. As they continue to expand, new opportunities are being created to strengthen their team.  Lock Search Group is helping them find a sales-driven Branch Manager with a strong background in power tools and industrial sales.

In this role will serve industry professionals by providing them with high-quality tools, expert service, and a best-in-class customer experience. You will play a critical role in driving sales and customer satisfaction while ensuring smooth branch operations. We are looking for a sales-oriented leader with strong product knowledge in tools and industrial sales. Your goal will be to maximize profitability, foster strong customer relationships, and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive branch sales growth and profitability by achieving targets while maintaining healthy margins.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and commercial clients.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and promotional opportunities.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team while promoting a professional, team-oriented culture.
  • Provide staff training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and upselling strategies.
  • Conduct daily check-ins, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching to ensure accountability.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and accurate stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with Inventory and Purchasing teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company standards, loss prevention, and theft control procedures.
  • Manage branch administration including payroll, scheduling, budgets, and expense control.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of management experience in the industrial sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of tools & industrial sales settings
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong history of impeccable customer service
  • Ability to identify and develop business opportunities and establish a positive company profile within the local business community
  • Previous history of building a team (hiring, coaching, mentoring)
