JOB PURPOSE

The Field Medical Advisor is a hybrid medical affairs role that combines strategic medical leadership with highquality field scientific engagement. Reporting to the Senior Director, Medical and Regulatory Affairs, this individual serves as both a scientific partner to internal stakeholders and a trusted medical expert to external healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and investigators.

This role contributes to the development and execution of the Canadian Medical Affairs strategy for Trilaciclib while directly engaging in compliant, evidence-based scientific exchange in the field.

The Field Medical Advisor bridges strategy and execution, translating field insights into actionable medical plans and ensuring alignment between national medical priorities and local engagement activities.

This role is field-based and requires significant travel within the assigned territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Medical Strategy & Tactical Leadership

• Contribute to the development and execution of the Canadian Medical Affairs Plan for Trilaciclib in alignment with global and regional strategies.

• Translate national medical strategy into actionable regional engagement plans.

• Identify strategic KOL engagement opportunities and develop tailored interaction plans.

• Monitor the clinical, scientific, and competitive landscape in Oncology to inform medical and crossfunctional strategy.

• Partner with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, and Clinical Operations to provide scientific and strategic input.

• Support development of advisory board strategy, scientific symposia, and expert engagement initiatives.

• Integrate field insights into strategic planning and evidence generation priorities.

Scientific Engagement & KOL Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with KOLs, HCPs, investigators, and scientific

societies.

• Conduct high-quality, fair-balanced, evidence-based scientific discussions in alignment with Canadian regulatory and compliance standards.

• Serve as a key scientific resource for experts within the assigned geography or nationally.

• Present and interpret clinical trial data, real-world evidence, and evolving scientific literature.

• Identify unmet medical needs and research gaps within the Oncology landscape.

• Support congress engagement, symposia, and scientific exchange initiatives.

Insights Generation & Field Intelligence

• Systematically gather, analyse, and communicate medical insights to internal stakeholders.

• Provide actionable intelligence on treatment paradigms, access challenges, and competitive dynamics.

• Contribute field-derived insights to refine national medical strategy and evidence plans.

• Maintain high-quality documentation of field interactions within approved systems.

Evidence Generation & Clinical Support

• Support local evidence generation initiatives, including investigator-initiated studies (IIS), real-world evidence projects, registries, and company-sponsored studies.

• Identify potential research collaborators and assess site feasibility.

• Provide medical input into study concepts, protocols, and publication plans.

• Contribute to development of scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and congress materials as appropriate.

Medical Information & Internal Education

• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a timely, compliant, and evidence-based manner.

• Provide scientific training to internal stakeholders, including Sales, Market Access, and cross-functional partners.

• Review scientific content and materials for medical accuracy where applicable.

• Act as a scientific coach and resource for field colleagues when appropriate.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure all medical activities comply with Health Canada, PAAB, IMC Code of Ethical Practices, and

internal policies.

• Participate in Medical-Legal-Regulatory (MLR) review processes as needed.

• Maintain high standards of documentation, transparency, and ethical conduct.

Other:

• Demonstrate the Pharmacosmos Values and Way of Working, as well as comply with company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct, all applicable Canadian laws and industry regulations governing pharmaceutical operations, including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), health and safety requirements, ethical standards, data privacy legislation, and any relevant Health Canada guidelines. Maintain the highest standards of integrity, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance in all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• BS or BA Degree required

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree strongly preferred: PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc (health sciences), or equivalent.

Experience:

• Two (2) years’ experience as an MSL required

• Experience working in Oncology preferred

• Experience contributing to medical strategies or cross-functional initiatives preferred

Skills / Competencies:

• Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare environment, MSL role expectations, and regulatory frameworks.

• Strong scientific acumen in Oncology and ability to interpret complex clinical data

• Strategic thinking with the ability to connect field insights to national planning

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

• Ability to operate independently in a field-based environment

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

• High ethical standards and commitment to compliance

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Travel required – approximately 50%

• Valid driver’s license required

• Languages: English required, French is an asset
