Our client is seeking a driven and strategic Key Account Manager to lead territory growth and execute impactful marketing initiatives across a specialized healthcare portfolio. JOB SUMMARY
The Key Account Manager is responsible for executing the territory marketing strategy to drive sales performance and expand market share. This role focuses on developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering value-added programs that support healthcare professionals across multiple physician specialties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute an annual territory business plan to achieve sales objectives
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, office managers, administrators, and key opinion leaders
- Create and implement strategic reach and frequency plans to optimize customer engagement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Supply teams to enhance customer experience
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new specialists and competitive account conversions
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations when distributing samples and materials
- Manage promotional budgets effectively and prioritize initiatives with strong ROI
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to capitalize on growth opportunities
- Deliver educational and value-added initiatives to support disease-state awareness and product adoption
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in a scientific or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical or B2B sales is considered an asset
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence diverse healthcare stakeholders
- Strong organizational, analytical, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action
