Retail Territory Sales Representative (GTA NORTH) - CPG Beverage Alcohol Company

More specifically, no further south than North York and no further north than Barrie. Our client, a highly-respected and fast-growing Beverage/Alcohol company here in Canada, is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable full-time, permanent Retail Territory Sales Representative in the Greater Toronto Area North area to represent their impressive portfolio of brands with a specialized approach. They have employees from coast to coast who sell and market beverage alcohol products to the various provincial Liquor Boards, private retailers and licensed on-trade establishments. The successful candidate will manage customers across the LCBO retail channel, as well as, grocery. Should you have passion, love and knowledge for wines & spirits and are a self-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, this role could be for you!
While it would be ideal to have current/recent sales experience within the Beverage/Alcohol industry, our client is open to candidates currently working within hospitality and foodservice that have an interest in a sales role and are passionate about wine. Smart Serve and WSET credentials would be strong assets.
Job Responsibilities:

Accountable for sales results and targets in designated territory

Demonstrate fiscal responsibility while managing business expenses and A+P dollars

Adhere to a master route ensuring effective and timely account visits daily

Aide in festivals, supplier/account dinners

Host fine wine events with suppliers and key customers

Act as an ambassador for all Icon Vins Fins Brands

Ability to analyze statistics with strong business acumen and utilize findings to maximize sales approach
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skill set:

Self starter and highly motivated

Valid ON Serving it Right Certificate would be an asset

Valid Smart Serve Certificate is mandatory

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to analyze and interpret data

Strong planning and organizational skills

Excellent oral and written skills

Possess a dependable and insured vehicle
-
Ability to lift/carry 40lbs regularly
-
Evening/weekend availability when required
