COMPANY PROFILE

Our client, a highly respected and rapidly growing Beverage/Alcohol company in Canada, with a coast-to-coast team dedicated to selling and marketing premium beverage alcohol products to provincial liquor boards, private retailers, and licensed on-trade establishments, is looking for a growth-focused Retail Territory Sales Representative to join their GTA East Sales team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The company is seeking a full-time, permanent Retail Territory Sales Representative for the Greater Toronto Area East. The successful candidate will represent a portfolio of distinguished brands, managing accounts across LCBO retail channels and grocery. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a passion for wines and spirits and a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.

While experience in the Beverage/Alcohol industry is preferred, the company welcomes candidates from other sectors (e.g., hospitality, foodservice, or general sales) who demonstrate interest in sales and possess strong knowledge of wines. Smart Serve and WSET credentials are considered valuable assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve sales results and meet targets within the assigned territory.
  • Manage business expenses and marketing budgets responsibly.
  • Execute a master route plan to ensure timely and effective account visits.
  • Support festivals, supplier/account dinners, and promotional events.
  • Host fine wine events with suppliers and key clients.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for all represented products.
  • Analyze sales data to inform and optimize sales strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-starter with strong motivation and goal orientation.
  • Deep passion for and knowledge of wines and spirits.
  • Valid ON Serving It Right or Smart Serve certification is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Dependable, insured vehicle for territory travel.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Availability for evening and weekend events as needed.
