SALES TEAM LEAD, FOODSERVICE (Tier 1 CPG Company)
Our client, a leader within the consumer-packaged goods food industry, is looking for a sharp, high-potential, and accomplished Foodservice sales professional to join their rapidly growing team as a Sales Team Lead. This role will be hybrid and based out of west GTA.
This newly-created role will report to the Sales Director, and will have a group of direct reports to lead, coach, and manage (both account and field salespeople). This opportunity will be responsible for; developing effective short and long-term sales growth strategies via a group of key foodservice accounts, leading negotiations and contract renewals with such accounts, working closely with company leadership to align these strategies with corporate objectives, driving new business opportunities/improving internal processes, and fostering/inspiring/motivating a high-performance and collaborative sales team within a key and fast-growing segments of the company's foodservice business.

Requirements for this role include; university degree ideally within a business-related field, 5-8+ years of successful and progressive experience within Foodservice sales/key account management with major national/regional foodservice accounts, excellent negotiation and leadership skills, and the ability to think strategically and collaborate effectively with high-level senior stakeholders.
