Territory Manager (On-Premise)

Calgary, AB

Lock Search Group is partnering with our client in the wine and spirits industry to add a proven sales professional to their team. We’re seeking a driven Territory Manager to grow and manage sales within the region. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of on-premise experience—ideally in fine wine—paired with a passion for building relationships and delivering results. JOB SUMMARY

As a Territory Manager, you will play a key role in implementing sales strategies to maximize volume, profit, and product distribution across your territory. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with clients and executing effective promotional and merchandising initiatives to drive business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maximize sales across trade channels by executing promotions, merchandising, and distribution strategies.
  • Manage territory expenses within budget and adhere to company travel and entertainment policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry contacts to drive business development.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify and act on new opportunities.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and share relevant sales insights to support business goals.
  • Ensure proper use and security of company-issued equipment and materials.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary education (diploma/degree) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of strong on-premise experience
  • Key account management experience considered an asset
  • Proven sales success in the wine and spirits industry preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with strengths in communication, problem-solving, and product knowledge
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours
  • Willingness to travel as required
